Costuming and Brand Resume

Below are some of the costumes we have made on our own time, but also affiliations with brands and companies related to costuming. We are working with those below, but are definitely open to more that fits our niche. Just contact us.

Below are some of our costumes, with side by side comparisons. So that you can see some of what we are capable of making.

  • We officially focused on costume making in 2016 after years of tinkering with costumes and crafts in our youth. Cosplay, and conventions, gave us a space to properly express our ability and art in a way we synced with the most.

  • After a long time of requests after working conventions doing craft panels, we finally decided to branch into tutorial files in 2021. It’s been an interesting journey learning the new process of making costumes to teach others, with both free and paid costume tutorials.

  • We now seek out opportunities to work with both costume product brands and game companies to make costumes of their characters. Feel free to seek out RGBfoxie for your female characters, and RGBWolfie for your male ones. We can work together to bring your craft product and game character content to life!

RGBfoxie’s Costumes

Alexstrasza - World of Warcraft

Costume design simplified for speed, and was made from a KinpatsuCosplay pattern. Many modifications made to accommodate the availability of supplies at the time of build. Costume is a mixture of EVA foam, stretch velvet, gold foil spandex, silicone elastics, and pleather.

Build Time: 9 days

Black Cat D.va - Overwatch

Dress made from an altered Simplicity sewing pattern. Fabrics were black and purple satin, pink satin ribbon, and black lace trim. Gloves and cat ears are modified pieces. EVA foam gun by RGBWolfie.

Kanna Kamui - Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maids

Top half of costume designed through alteration of Simplicity sewing patterns. Skirt design drafted and made by RGBfoxie. SVG files for black designs, wig dying, hair ornaments made of clear Christmas ornaments, horns, and tail by RGBWolfie.

Aerith Gainsborough - Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core Reunion

White dress made from a medium weight jersey knit with lace trim and satin blanket binding. Dress design was drafted within a month. Design was created to be sewn on a standard sewing machine, as opposed to a serger and coverstitch machine, to make the design more accessible to those with only a basic sewing machine. Bow was made of pink broadcloth and iron-on interfacing. An additional day was added to weave a basket and create foam flowers.

Tifa Lockhart - Final Fantasy 7: Remake

Armor and skirt made, and patterns drafted, by RGBfoxie. Rest are bought and modified pieces. Armor patterns available below.

Milim Nava - Reincarnated As a Slime

Jacket modified from a Simplicity lolita shirt pattern. White top and black bottom self-drafted and made by RGBfoxie. Necklace and spotted leg piece drafted and made by RGBWolfie.

Hestia - Is it Wrong to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?

Dress is a modified dress, with interfacing added to spiked edges to keep shape. Hair decorations by RGBfoxie. Grey foam pieces drafted and made by RGBWolfie.

Primrose - Octopath Traveler

Patterns fully drafted, and costume made by RGBfoxie. Red fabric was a ribbed knit, with the pleather pieces made from upholstery leather. Skirt was a simple elastic waistband skirt. Flat-back acrylic gems added as embellishments. Necklace made by RGBfoxie.

Garnet Til Alexandros - Final Fantasy IX

Bought, orange bodysuit cut and modified. White satin-like fabric added to front for front panel, and added to arms for sleeves. Grommets and faux satin cord added to front. Bought red gloves (not in photo). Necklace made of a glass gem and worbla. Prop made and drafted by RGBWolfie out of a PVC pipe, worbla, and a styrofoam ball.

Saltstone Plate Armor - World of Warcraft

Armor made of eva and craft foam, wood glue, and covered in worbla that was spray painted. Pattern drafted and costume built by RGfoxie. Shoulder armor base by RGBWolfie. Guitar was covered in EVA foam and other craft supplies by RGBWolfie to mimic the weapon “Necromedes, the Death Resonator” from the same game.

Guitar is a 4-string base and is fully functional.

RGBWolfie’s Costumes

Ingot Armor (Female) - Monster Hunter Rise

Entire armor set, including skirt and undershirt, were all drafted and made by RGBWolfie. Weapon also made by RGBWolfie, and is the Kakaru Kumo Naki II long sword.

Award: 2nd Place Master, Lexington Comic and Toy Con (2022)

Judgement Paladin Plate Armor - World of Warcraft

Plate armor made from EVA foam by RGBWolfie. Entire pattern for armor designed from scratch. Hood made from black twill, with gold pleather trim. Undershirt made of spandex, and skirt from 2-way stretch pleather. All painted by hand with acrylic paints.
